Tom died July 10, 2003, at his home in Fallowfield Township. He retired from the U.S. Navy, in 1996 and then taught classes, at San Diego College, Great Lakes Naval Base, Waukegan, IL. Thomas was killed as a result of an automobile accident on the German Autobon, June 14, 1986, while serving his country in the United States Army. His death tragically occurred just six months prior to the completion of his tour of duty and return to civilian life in the U.S. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Jericho Weiss whom he married in October of 1984 and one daughter, Amanda Weiss. |
