I have been married for thirteen years, now. My married name is Paterini... I have two boys, Ricky(11) and Jonathan(8). I am an administrative assistant for an agency, which has group homes for mentally retarded adults. I have been here, for eleven years. I lived in Virginia for eight years, but my husband(he works for the Department of Agriculture- Department of Health) was transferred back to Pittsburgh and we bought a house in Bentleyville and we have been here, for eleven years.

SOKOLOSKY, David A. IN MEMORIAM
David passed away, On December 14, 2003, after a lengthy illness, resulting from a May 11, 1986 motorcycle accident. Prior to his accident, David worked as a tractor-trailer truck driver and in the construction field. He was a leader for the Pike Run 4-H Club and enjoyed working on the family farm. David also, was a graduate of Southeastern Academy, in Kissimmee, Florida. Left to cherish his memory were his parents, John and Katherine Louttit Sokolosky, of Fallowfield Township; one brother and a sister, Kevin Lynn and Sandra Kay Sokolosky, both of Bentleyville; his maternal grandmother, Della M. Louttit, of Bentleyville; aunts, an uncle and many cousins. |

Mark Anthony "Crusher" Uhutch, 43, of Charleroi, died Thursday, June 9, 2005. Born June 10, 1961 in Charleroi, he was a son of Victor Louis Uhutch of Roscoe and Lavaughn "Sue" Uhutch of Charleroi. He was a 1979 graduate of Charleroi Area High School and employed by Addis Contracting. Mark was the recording secretary for the Charleroi Italia Unita Club and treasurer of the IUC Duck Pin League and the Charleroi Belgian Club. He was an avid golfer. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Marlita Addis and Marcy Uhutch of Charleroi; two half sisters, Kelly Jo Walker and Patty Jo Uhutch; five uncles and aunts; four nieces and three nephews; and special friend, Jody Bailey. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lydia and Walter Smolinski and Victoria and John Uhutch. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. in the LEONARD M. PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES INC., 235 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 13 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Roscoe with the Rev. George Moneck, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.

Whiten, Sean - IN MEMORIAM
Sean T. Whiten, 47, of Stockdale, died Saturday, August 9, 2008 while instructing exercises at the Smithton Fire Training Center in Westmoreland County. He was born March 7, 1961 in North Charleroi, a son of Robert and Sylvia Humphries Whiten, who survive and reside in Charleroi. Sean was a member of Gospel Alliance Church, the Mon Valley and Rostraver Emergency Medical ambulance services, the Washington County HazMat team, and he was a past member of the Charleroi and Stockdale volunteer fire departments. He was a member and past president of the Roscoe Volunteer Fire Company and the Southwestern Fire Chiefs Association. Sean was a State Fire Academy suppression instructor at the local level, a position he held at the time of his death. He was a 1979 graduate of Charleroi Area High School and 1984 graduate of Indiana State University at Terre Haute, Ind., where he was very active in athletics. Sean was employed by Simonds International, out of Fitchburg, Mass., as a regional manager, PSC serving the entire East Coast. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Linda Rebar Whiten, and son, Sean Robert Whiten, of Stockdale; one brother, Robert Whiten and wife Jan, of Charleroi; his mother-in-law, Gladys Rebar, of Stockdale; one brother-in- law, John Rebar, of Charleroi; nephew, Ian Whiten; nieces, Brandee and Brittany Rebar and Brooke Ramsdell; and one great-niece and nephew, Taylor and Aidan Ramsdell. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Catherine and George Humphries. Friends will be received in the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES INC., Roscoe, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Fireman's Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 7 p.m. Additional viewing will be held Thursday, August 14 from 9 to 11 a.m., the hour of service at the Stockdale Fire Department.
