Hello...
My father, who still lives in the Mon Valley told me about this site. He has just discovered the Internet and tells me about his adventures.
I graduated from CHS in 1983. From there, I moved around the world as a soldier and a civilian. Currently, I am living in the Orlando, Florida area where I own a software company. Besides typing code, I do some fishing and play/coach hockey. My wanderlust hasn't left me yet, so I still spend at least 1 month a year traveling overseas. I really haven't heard from any of my fellow grads (other than my brother's wife Christine, who is also a 1983 grad).

UPDATE (7/31/04): My son, Anthony is now 5 I have a newborn daughter, Olivia. I continue to work as a Senior Project Manager at the U.S. Dept. of HUD, in Pittsburgh.

Christopher L. McKenna I, 41, of Charleroi, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. He was born May 13, 1964, in Lorain, Ohio, a son of Mary Ann O'Neill McKenna of Speers Hill and the late Joseph C. McKenna. Chris was a graduate of Charleroi High School in the Class of 1983 and graduated from the All State Career Institute where he received his certificate for his C.D.L. He was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish in Charleroi and was a truck driver, devoted and a hard worker at the Patterson Supply Co. of Monongahela. In addition to his mother, Chris is survived by his wife, Marian Bradshaw McKenna; two sons, Christopher Lynn II and Joseph Franklin McKenna, both at home; one daughter, Jamie Lynn McKenna, at home; two brothers Joseph B. McKenna and wife Alicia, and Charles A. McKenna and wife Jamie, all of Charleroi; one sister, Catherine A. McKenna of Charleroi; and several nieces and nephews. In loving memory of Chris "Superman", devoted and caring husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, followed by interment in Monongahela Cemetery.

I have been married to Sam Cupari, for 17 years and still live in Stockdale. I have two boys, Nicholas(14) and Tanner(9). I have worked from home as a medical transcriptionist, for the past five years and also, do all the book work for my husband's construction company. I really missed attending the reunion this year, but I plan on being at the next. We keep very busy with the boys and their sports(both motocross)- not much time for anything else.

I have traveled quite extensively throughout the years and it would be nice to touch base with some of my fellow classmates. I have not been back to Pa. in years, although I will be stopping there momentarily on business this coming winter. My parents moved to Florida along with my brother, Wayne. My oldest brother, Charles passed on (God Rest His Soul), a few years back in an accident; so, I really haven't had much reason to return. Going on 17 years, married with two boys... Cameron and Kyle, 14 & 10. Getting ready to retire, in 2004, after 20 years of military service. Next career will be real estate. John M. Tomaceski, 41, of Carroll Township, died Thursday, May 11, 2006 at his residence. He was born Feb. 25, 1965, in North Charleroi, the son of John W. and Betty Deutchki Tomaceski, both of whom survive and reside in Fallowfield Township. He was Catholic by faith. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Joan Stasiowski of South Natick, Mass., and Valerie Couture, of Wakefield, Mass.; one niece and nephew, Amanda and Jonathan Couture; and his friend, Robert Bell. There will be no public visitation. Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, Charleroi.
