I've been living in Texas, ever since my family moved here, 5 days after graduation. Attended the University of Texas, at Arlington, where I received both a bachelor and master's degree, in social work administration. Spent 11 years, at Millwood Psychiatric Hospital, as the Corporate Director of Human Resources. I now, am the Administrator of Central Dallas Ministries Community Health Clinic... a medical/dental clinic serving the inner city poor of Dallas. I married an Italian girl, from Ambridge, PA- met in college- Small World!
Updated 2/6/06: Just wanted to give a little update. Since I submitted my info, I moved into the role of Chief Operations Officer for Central Dallas Ministries, now overseeing the day to day operations of a range of programs including the medical/dental clinic I was the administrator of, a pro bono law firm, a food pantry, a computer technology center and several more programs. |

I am still in Charleroi and doing well. I am married to Josh Calcek and have two beautiful, perfect children: Ross, age 5 and Raegan, age 1. I graduated from W&J in '93 and went to Cal U after to obtain a teaching certificate. I now own two insurance agencies, one in Charleroi and one in Brownsville. I couldn't make it to the 15 year (I can't believe it) reunion, but would love to hear from everyone if you have a minute, about how it went. I hope we can have a big turn out at the 20 year. I'd love to catch up with everyone. My son is in Kindergarten this year in Charleroi and it is so strange going to the school campus and being a parent. Hello, Everyone.
I am sorry I missed the reunion, but I gave birth to my third son on September 24, this year. I am married and have three sons. Michael is 12, Shawn, 6 and Baby Paul is 4 months. I worked at Magee Womens Hospital for many years in the O.R. I worked as an MA in the fertility center for reproductive health. I just quit to be a stay-at-home mom, but I recently opened my own daycare business. Everything is going great and I couldn't be happier. Hey Everyone,
I have been married to Daryl, since 1992. We have one extremely handsomne son named Cole (10). Owned Magic City Travel, until 2000. Now spend most of my time at Alton Industries, Inc., which is my husband's business. We do heavy earth moving, housing developements, golf courses, some demo.
I live on a farm - yes, I did say farm. We run a herd of 40 Beefalo; also raise and ride Quarter Horses, which is our true passion.

Updated (3/29/06): Life has been good since graduating from CHS. I've developed a very rewarding career and wonderful family. I earned a BA in Sociology, an MEd in School Counseling, and K-12 School Administration Certification all at Cal-U. Since 1994, I've worked in the counseling field some, but mostly in public education. I have found a home for my career as a public school administrator; I'm the building Principal at Central Westmoreland Career & Technology Center. Prior to February of 2005, I spent a few years as a high school guidance counselor for the Washington School District, which I loved as well. I'm married to a wonderful girl - Cheryl (Puskavich) who is an 1986 graduate of Bentworth and 1991 graduate of Cal-U (she is a social worker). We have two awesome kids... Cody, 11 and Caroline, 3 (that I spoil of course). I've been very blessed and hope the same for you. On a sad note, my mom Helen Rice (CHS Class of 1953) died on August 9, 2005. She was a great woman and I would certainly not be where I am without her; she is deeply missed. I wish all the best for each member of the Class of '89 and all CHS alumni. |

Washington (not far from the Incline), since shortly after high school.
