Hi everyone. A lot has happened since I last posted. I graduated from school with a degree in child development. My husband's job moved us to illinois. We moved into a townhouse in the suburbs of Chicago. On March 3, 2008 we welcomed a babygirl, Sarah Hanna Shenouda, into our family. She was 7 lbs. 5 oz. With a ton of hair. She is the joy of our lives. In a couple of months we will be moving into our first house! Life couldn't be better!

I just finished paramedic school at CCAC, in April; I'm waiting to take my national test. Still working for Mon Valley EMS. Some may know I had a daughter, on December 20, 2001. Her name is MaKendra Marie Pendleton. She is now 2, going on 20! I married her father, October, 25, 2002 and we are all doing great. Mak is a Mon Valley 'Little Star' (baton group) just like Mommy. Hello, 'Class of 1999'... Hard to believe it's been almost 5 years!!!!!! Worked full-time, after high school. As many of you probably know, I had a baby boy, Tristan Michael, on April 2, 2001. His father joined the Army and we were married, when he was home from basic training. We have been stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC, since June, 2003. Hope all is well with everyone. Hello, Everyone. I was married, in May of 2003. My husband works for US Steel, as a programmer. He had a great job opportunity to move to Europe, for 2 to 3 years. So after we were married, we moved to Serbia, where we are living, now. I never thought I'd get the opportunity to travel like this! I don't know exactly what to say. Well, currently I am stuck in Iraq and I hate it. I joined the PA National Guard, in Sept. '99. After a brief and disastrous attempt at college, I joined the active army. I was sent to Fort Campbell to serve with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assualt). I have deployed three times in the course of my six year history with the Army. I got married to a woman from TN last August, before I deployed. You all have fun and pray for all my brothers and sisters over here. Don't go into the army. Iraq sucks. (11/18/05)

Graduated from Cal U of PA (Cum Laude). Took a year off to travel. Now, I'm working towards a M.S. in Geology, at Idaho State University as a research assistant, on a NASA imagery grant. My thesis involves the mapping of a major, active fault that bounds the Sawtooth Range using LiDAR, INSAR, GIS and field mapping. The weather, scenery and beer are better here. Charles "Ronnie" Pelzer Jr., 24, of Charleroi, died suddenly Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004 in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Feb. 3, 1980, in Carroll Township, a son of Charles R Sr. and Brenda Newman Pelzer of Charleroi. Ronnie was a 1999 honors graduate of Charleroi Area High School and was a member of the Mon Valley Deck Hockey League. He was Protestant by faith. In addition to his parents, Ronnie is survived by one son, Brennen Ronald Pelzer, of Monessen; one sister, Nicole Lynne Pelzer, of Charleroi; one niece, Halie Noel Gereshenski, of Charleroi; maternal grandmother, Mildred Newman, of Charleroi; and paternal grandmother, Helen R. Pelzer, of Charleroi; his fiancee, Dawn Marie DiBartolomeo, of Monessen; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank Newman; and paternal grandfather, Charles J. Pelzer. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home followed by interment in Charleroi Cemetery.

I graduated from Pitt in 2005 with a BA in English Literature and minors in Communication and Administration of Justice.
I was a cheerleader at Pitt and during my senior year we ranked #4 in Division I Cheerleading at the NCA College National Championships. I cheered for both the football and basketball teams (got to cheer on fellow classmate Dan LaCarte) and met some great connections in the process.
I worked for Elite Cheerleading for four years during college and travelled the country teaching cheerleading camps and choreographing routines. I moved to Virginia (outside of the DC border) in 2007 to further my career and start my own Cheerleading Choreography company.
I currently work for AvalonBay Communities as the Sr. Administrative Analyst to the Vice President of Property Operations. I also handle the DC/MD/VA Meeting/Event Planning for corporate functions as well as being the Regional Customer Service Manager for 20 reporting properties. I also coach an all-star cheerleading team, Cheer Fusion, as the Senior Level 3 coach and I am the head choreographer for all teams in the gym. I started my own company, Cheer Envy, in November of 2007. Cheer Envy handles choreography for cheer teams across the country and I currently have clients in 5 different states. The process has been slow but rewarding and should pay off within the next year.
On a more fun note
I am planning the CLASS OF '99 TEN YEAR REUNION - I'm tentatively looking at July or August 2009 for the date. Would be on a weekend: Friday - Sunday. I'm looking at locations around the area as well. If anyone would like to help - all is appreciated! Not living in the area is hard, but it will work. I am going to use internet sources to find most of our classmates, so MySpace, Facebook or this site can help - if you know of anyone that you keep in contact with - please let me know via email -mandispina@gmail.com.
