Stories of reunited friendships routinely are shared by many alumni. Many kind words have been extended for the genuine pleasure CharleroiPaHsAlumni.org has given many of you since its inception in October of 2002.

I stumbled across this web site and would like to say great job. I think it's great. I grew up in Clairton, during the late 60?s and early 70?s watching what was then the Big Ten Conference with the likes of Charleroi, Clairton, Elizabeth Forward, Thomas Jefferson, Monessen, Belle Vernon, Brownsville, Ringgold, Laurel Highlands, and South Allegheny. This site brings back so many memories. Thanks, Stephen Jordan
Love the site... telling all that I can...
It is just too awesome... I already have hooked up with an old neighbor I always wondered about - and it is like we are kids again!
Thanks for all your work!

Your diligence in trying to keep in touch online with all of the Charleroi High School alumni is to be commended and we are quite sure you have brought much joy and excitement into many lives of those who once attended school, lived, worked and enjoyed life in Charleroi. Please accept this [contribution] with our sincere appreciation.

I want to thank you for setting up this great web site. I tried to use the Classmates site but it was so darn expensive and there was no guarantee that any of my old classmates could afford to pay the membership fee.
I have to admit that I was shocked to see how many of my classmates had passed away. WOW that was a shock to my system... it sure made me feel very sad....
Thanks again for giving us "old" Cougars a chance to reconnect... I already have sent the site to one of my friends that I still am in touch with and will continue to pass "the word" along....
Thanks a million.....

Just a note to compliment you on your Charleroi site. You can tell a lot of work went into it. I'm from across the river. We were your rival in sports. I've done a couple of sites, but no where near your quality. Met one of the alumns at a Monessen reunion in Florida, this February. Her name is Joan C. I don't know her maiden name. She is married to a Monessenite. I knew a few Charleroians. I would have to dig into my historic archives to recall their names. Again, my compliments for a fine website. Ciao...

I just flew into Miami airport and in the process of getting my rental car, my cell phone rings. On the other end is Armeda Carcella. I had not seen nor spoken to her in 27 years. We find out we are 30 minutes away from each other and make plans to meet for dinner that evening. I don't remember what I had for dinner, but our conversation closed down the restaurant and continued in the parking lot until after midnight. I have thought about Armeda many times since school days and she claims the same about me. We didn't socialize that closely in school, but I find it so interesting we both have held this special bond and deep feelings for each other. I think even as adolescents we recognized and admired each other's strengths. Sometimes we never really know how we touch each other's lives in life, but Armeda and I understand thanks to this website.

Thank you so much for your help. I also wanted to thank the 'Class of 1950' for sending the floral arrangement. It was perfect with the school colors and I know Daddy was smiling. I think I sent a thank you note, but that time was so confusing, I may have forgotten to write one. However, I have not forgotten the thought and generosity. Daddy was so proud of his class and classmates. He had a great time at the reunion and loved the computer to speak with his long-time friends. Please, pass along a sincere hello to anyone you are aware of who knew him. Thanks again-

I'm anxious to go to the 30 year reunion. I've only been to one 15 years, ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't thank you enough for the web site. I don't think anyone knew how to reach me for the reunion and I really want to attend. Seems like it will be a great time.

I don't know how to thank you! You have facilitated my contact with a former Charleroi High classmate, who was a good friend, while I was there. Not only that, but he knew my brother, who was killed in a non-combat, military accident more than 25 years, ago. I have thought of him so many times in the last 45 years. Thank you, thank you.
