;void(0)) Lock Four Jr. High, Circa Late Teens to 1920 Clemence Beaumariage Sutherland (born 1906), is in the top row, 4th from the left. She appears to be perhaps, 13 or 14 years old. That would date the picture, late teens to 1920. Clemence attended the Lock 4 school for nine years, but did not graduate from high school. She was the eldest in a family of nine children born, between 1906 and 1923. Two children died at birth and Clemence, left school because she was needed at home to care for her siblings. She also, worked outside the home in support of the family. She married in 1925, at age 19. The other students in the picture are unknown.
