	The Front Page Back in the "old" days, the local newspaper, The Charleroi Mail printed it's last edition. My aunt, Elizabeth Culler, from Maple View worked in the office. After the last press run, my aunt along with my mother, Mary Ellen Sherwin, from Monessen had a bolt of white fabric loaded onto the press and ran it through. My mother made some shirts for some of the newspaper's employees with part of the fabric and she also took two pieces of the fabric (actual pages of the last edition, from Tuesday, August 12, 1952) and framed them. When cleaning out my mother's apartment after she passed away, I found them. These framed pages are now hanging in the main library, in Charleroi.
